Word of Mouth Marketing

What is marketing?

Marketing is the act of bringing something, usually a product or serve “to market”. Which means making it known to a greater audience.

What can it do for my business?

How do I know when I am succeeding in marketing?

All about making the necessary connections. Also about building trust with your customers. Without trust, you will have no word-of-mouth marketing.

Without a true solution to customers’ problems that they are excited to share you will have no word-of-mouth marketing.

Getting creative

Being consistent

What is needed to remain top of mind is consistency and maybe you can use technology to send out automated communication to your people.

Consistently delivering value and engagement to nurture trust in the relationships of your prospects and clients. It pays off like an exponential curve but you will not know if you miss days because the effects do compound.

Thinking outside of the box

A lot of word of mouth has to do with you being unique but I think the most important facet is leaving your customer excited that there problem is solved. In fact, your customer would be so excited that they wanted to share the good news with other people.

Not because you forced them to but because they want to. This is similar to viral marketing. People share what makes them look good.

Not splitting your energy/focus to thin

Why would you want to improve your word of mouth marketing?

Why would you want to track your word of mouth marketing efforts?

Books you can read.

There are several social media platforms you can choose to pitch a tent on but should you camp on all of them? Or try to build a solid base on one or two of them until you get some serious traction?
